Before this, they were manually publishing dozens of articles each day which was a time consuming, error prone process that made it difficult to scale. The Challenge

Manually publishing every sports update was becoming unsustainable for the client’s growing platform.
They needed an automated solution to keep both the "Latest News" section and individual sport-specific pages continuously updated, without requiring constant manual input.

The Solution

The proposed solution was to automate the content sourcing, writing, and publishing process completely.

What We Built

Using Make.com and OpenAI, we designed a fully automated workflow:

• Fetch: New sports stories are pulled in through RSS feeds.

• Extract: Each article page is fetched via HTTP and cleanly parsed using XPath.

• Generate: The extracted content is sent to the OpenAI API, where prompt engineering turns it into polished, full-length articles.

• Publish: Finalized articles are automatically published on the client’s Webflow site, accurately categorized by sport.

The Result

• 24/7 Fresh Content: New articles go live on the site within minutes of a story breaking.

• Zero Manual Work: The client no longer needs to manually update their platform.
